Comprehensible Online Presentation Proposals
Comprehensible Online is accepting presentation proposals of 30 minutes to 1 hour in length in any of the following content areas:
- TPRS/CI Activities
- Reading Strategies & Activities
- Other Classroom Activities
- Classroom Management
- Grading & Assessment
- Classroom Demonstrations*
We ask that all titles and descriptions submitted with your proposal be publish-ready, but please know they may be edited for length if necessary.
*All classroom-demonstration videos that include faces of minors must submit written permission from legal parent/guardian allowing their child to appear on video.
All proposals are due by Wednesday, November 30, 2018.
Accepted proposals will be notified within 7 days of submission.
Comprehensible Online Presentation Requirements
All presentations must be recorded and submitted as an MOV or MP4 video file. The videos should be of high quality, include your face, and filmed in horizontal orientation.
All presentations must provide a handout in PDF format.
All presenters must submit a picture of themselves along with their proposal of at least 150 pixels x 150 pixels.
All classroom-demonstration videos that include faces of minors must submit written permission from legal parent/guardian allowing their child to appear on video.
All videos and handouts are due by January 31, 2019.
Comprehensible Online Presentation Compensation
Comprehensible Online believes in a fair and transparent distribution of proceeds. In addition to getting free registration to the conference, all presenters will be paid an hourly rate based on the number of hours of their presentations.
The 2019 hourly rate will be announced shortly.
All presenters will be paid within 10 business days of the final date of the conference window.
Other Presentation Information
All presentations and handouts are copyright of the presenter. Video presentations submitted for the Comprehensible Online Conference will be the property of Comprehensible Online for a period of 3 years. After which, the videos may be used as seen fit by the presenter.
Participants will only have access to the video presentations and handouts during the conference window. Extensions will not be granted. All video presentations and handouts will be available only to registered participants, fellow presenters, and the conference staff. All reasonable precautions will be taken to keep your presentations and handouts safe and secure.
