I am Maris Hawkins, and I am so happy to be able to present in the first ever Comprehensible Online conference.  I like the flexibility to watch in my own time, and re-watch parts if necessary.  Plus, I can space it out over a few weeks to try to implement what I have learned in my classes.  My session will discuss how to provide more input through technology as I teach a blended class that meets both face to face and online.

In my hour session, I will show how I use different technology applications to provide input to students.  I will also demonstrate how I set up each program on my computer.  By the end of the session, you will know how to set up the program and ways to use it in a CI class.  I will demonstrate how I use Google Forms to assess reading, and how Google Forms can provide immediate feedback to students. I will also show how to set up a Goosechase to send your students on a scavenger hunt throughout your school.  I have used EdPuzzle to simulate a MovieTalk for homework or days when I am out of school.  Finally, I will set up an ActivelyLearn article which helps to differentiate reading passages for my students.
